The medical profession as we know it today has changed in the past 50 years----Antibiotics are becoming useless, Doctors follow the advice of salesmen trained by large pharmaceuticals, medication is a trial and error process with you as the guinea pig.
That is not progress.

The eastern practice of Ayer Veda has much to offer with at least 5000 years of practice using herbs and spices. South African inyangas and sangomas are imbued with the same mysteries and magic of other ancient wisdom traditions. Used often in Ayurvedic medicine, cloves are anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiseptic and analgesic.

The use of clove oil for toothache is legendary. You can temporarily alleviate the pain by dabbing a little clove oil on a cotton ball and placing it on the sore tooth or on your gums. An added benefit is that it is anti septic and anti-inflammatory and so will help by attacking any local germs. The anti inflammatory and super antioxidant action is partly due to the flavonoids including Kaempferol.(also very high in kale).

Eugenol (a volatile oil) is the main active ingredient. Somewhat underrated for its antinociceptive or anti –pain action - its effect on neurotransmitters makes it an extraordinary customer for future further research in pain relief in western medicine.
Probably only if some inspired rich researcher has the independent finance, funding won’t be forthcoming from the mainstream pharmaceuticals since healing is just the image their PR departments throw out—they are in it for the bucks and simple cures don’t make money.

Eugenol is also the ingredient that decreases the blood clotting of platelets and so helps with good cardio vascular health. If you are already on blood thinners then it may first be advisable to consult your practitioner as bleeding and bruising can occur if already on thinners.

The moral and ethical standards of those in control likely differ from yours and mine yet we gobble up possible misinformation via google, through the media, t v news, newspapers, movies not considering misinformation and other dangers produced by a global network of machines that we are linked into most of our waking and often sleeping hours..

The essential volatile oils of Cloves including, beta-caryophyllene and methyl salicylate  (painkiller) function as a rubefacient, meaning that it irritates the skin and expands the blood vessels, increasing the flow of blood to make the skin feel warmer, making it a popular home remedy for arthritis and sore muscles, used either as a poultice or in hot baths or simply applying the oil directly.

The oil can also be applied to the skin for pain from bruising and cuts and is indicated to prevent and treat skin cancers. Clove oil is strong and can be used mixed with olive oil if the pure oil stings. The fragrant smell is derived from the eugenol.
For clearing the skin a mixture of 1 teaspoon of ground cloves, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 3 drops of fresh lemon juice applied to the skin for 20 minutes then rinse with cold water.

Real healthcare does not begin in the doctor’s rooms; it begins with the realization that you are not well. Whenever you can, treat yourself to well being and enjoy your independence. The insatiable greed and lust for power of those creatures already in power will continue if you continue giving them your power.

Since cloves have so many active principles it can be used in moderation for relieving indigestion and flatulence. It works by increasing the secretion of gastro intestinal enzymes. Other researchers say that it is anti diarrhoeal.
Lacking in appetite after listening to the news or reading the newspapers then a few drops of clove oil in water half hour before meals should rectify that.

Research has confirmed the use of cloves as an anthelminthic  (gets rids of parasitic worms and liver flukes). Its anti fungal properties may help with ringworm together with tea tree oil.

It has been touted as a male aphrodisiac and some say specifically to prevent premature ejaculation---may be more conducive to stimulate your partner sufficiently almost to the point of orgasm and then indulge in coitus so both enjoy orgasm.
It is better to buy the whole clove as the powdered clove may have adulterants added.
The cloves and powder can be stored in a refrigerator. Ground cloves should be used as soon as possible as they loose their potency. Use a coffee grinder to grind the cloves.

The oil is easily available from pharmacies. The cloves can be bought from food stores and better still at a spice market where you may get very good quality.
Good cloves float in water vertically; bad quality floats horizontally or sinks.
Test before you buy by squeezing the clove—good quality will squeeze some oil out.
To make the tea, add hot water to a few cloves and steep for 20 minutes. The cloves can be used alone or with another tea mixture

Cloves are packed with vitamins (Vit K, A, B6, B1 C) and minerals {Calcium. Magnesium, Selenium, Potassium and Iron} and especially Manganese which is essential for so many life processes affecting the heart, metabolism, bone formation, blood and kidney systems.

There is some evidence that certain compounds in clove act as antihistamines, keeping sinus passageways clear and open. Together with the expectorant property
(Expectorants facilitate the coughing up and expulsion of the excessive Mucus produced during various Respiratory Tract Infections) makes clove tea useful in Bronchitis, Common Cold- Pneumonia and Sinusitis

Cross-linking is when nutrients in the body join to do a specific action. The process becomes toxic when the resultant molecule is malformed by the unwanted joining and is unable to do its work. This relates to free radical action.
Cloves inhibit the cross linking of glucose and collagen thus halting the suspected major cause of aging.

When dealing with a breakdown in one aspect of the body health, it may be wise to treat the whole system rather than focus on a single organ or system. In this way mixtures of herbs may work more effectively than a single herb—some helping with elimination and detoxing. Our mixtures contain herbs, which do all that and fortify the mineral and vitamin supply hence providing a more complete healing process with no side effects.

The process of cutting a herb generates heat so the finer the cut of the herb so too does the potency diminish that little bit. So I recommend the rough tea cut rather than teabags even though it appears to be a mission to make in the rush rush everyday world.

Guidance with professional health practitioners from the naturopath, sangoma, dietician, alternative healer to a MD is an responsible course of action when dealing with any substance affecting your health.

IN MOST CASES WE REFER TO DRIED HERB WHEN ADVOCATING AMOUNTS IN TEASPOON FOR TEAS .

DOUBLE THE AMOUNT WHEN USING FRESH HERB.

In the next newsletter we will deal with Calendula in the series called Streetwise - talking about medicinal properties of herbs found growing in the streets, garden and the wild.

HOME TREATMENT FOR SKIN CANCERS PART 2

The downside of home treatment is that it can take a long time—visibly you can see the evidence of healing over a period so that may confirm you are using the right method.
One mans meat is another’s poison in that one of the other treatments may work faster and better for you. Obviously a fast fix is through surgery and /or one of the new fangled creams –surgery is quick, leaves scars and the creams are a lengthy and costly process and once you buy into those ways well then that has been the choice of heart.

Currently I am using iodine and after a month am glad to say some progress in healing with containment of the wounds.
Good diet is essential and for the long term a regular regimen of detoxing is beneficial.
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), is a natural antacid and an inexpensive, Baking soda, sodium bicarbonate is an alkaline inexpensive substance found in most kitchens. Has a multitude of uses and is  a very effective, way of balancing pH levels in the body.
To make sure the bicarb is active:
a. Mix a teaspoon of questionable baking soda in a bowl containing a few tablespoons of vinegar. If there is a burst of bubbling activity, you can assume the baking soda has plenty of leavening life left in it.
It is a pity this kind of test cannot be used on petty clerks and government/ municipal officials who use their position to make things difficult – often wonder if they are just really stupid or their families harass them into a state of duh.
b. Mix a bit of warm water into a small amount of baking soda. If you see bubbles of carbon dioxide form, then your baking soda is good.. If no bubbles are formed or the reaction seems weak, it's time to replace your baking soda
Easily obtainable from your food store, store in an airtight container in a cool dark place.

The procedures below are unconventional and have been put together by people who have had enough of surgery and have had success with their creative processes. Any side effects will be noted otherwise they are safe measures.

Paste 1

Coconut oil (at cool room temperature it is solid so you may have to heat it in warm water )
Bicarbonate of soda
Stirring tool
Organic apple cider vinegar
Cotton pads
Small bowl
1-teaspoon bicarb to 1-teaspoon coconut oil–stir well until it is a nice paste.
Apply to wound surface with the stirring tool but do not rub it into the sore. Cover the affected area with a cotton swab soaked in apple cider vinegar.
Initially you may need to apply 3 times daily and leave on as long as possible. Clean the affected area before each application. After a week or as you notice progress apply twice daily
The roots of the basal cell actually go deeper in the skin that it appears. It is not just on the surface, so it is important to apply the paste long enough, even after the wound is completely closed. To help penetrate the root soak a cotton pad soaked with apple cider vinegar on the affected area.
At night it is beneficial to apply an antibiotic cream or substance
Some natural antibiotic applications would be tea tree oil or clove oil—if a paste is required then make a paste mixing a few drops of the oil in raw honey and apply. Dry dead skin may appear but the coconut oils, moisturising property will sort that.

Paste 2

Baking soda and maple syrup (Kelmun protocol)

Creating an alkaline mixture that works by killing microbes

inside of the cancer.
Heat baking soda and maple syrup together for 5 minutes to
bind the two substances together. A weak bond is formed but
that is ok as the protocol works quickly.
The cancer cells eat the maple syrup because cancer cells
consume 15x more glucose than normal cells. The very alkaline
baking soda transforms or kills the cancer cells

Apple cider vinegar and 3% hydrogen peroxide

Mix equal quantities of organic apple cider vinegar and h2o2.diluted 35% hydrogen peroxide is also ok.
Dab on the affected area 5 times per day until a scar is formed. The scar may be whitish and hard or the cancer may not scar and just change colour.
Leave for a week and then apply h2o2 5x per day until the scar disappears.
Use a cotton bud to apply the vinegar and peroxide. And allow to dry naturally.
Can use coconut oil paste as follow up.

Even with the positive reports that feature, it’s hard to believe that people have had success with such simple and cost effective remedies.
In the next newsletter we will continue with other protocols and herbal creams that may have the ability to help skin cancers.

So what’s part of the balance in a society with chemical and pesticide rich food? You can go organic, plant your own, join an organic co op. Start with doing your own sprouts, so easy and a great source of vitamins minerals and essential nutrients.(see newsletter no 19). Spend sometime in nature, quietly. Link with people who create wellbeing and good vibes. Save and swop organic seed.
